Brew City Trimlight Process

Brew City Trimlight Process

Schedule a Consultation

When you reach out to Brew City Trimlight we will set up a no cost no obligation quote at your home. We will pick a time that will be most convenient for you and anyone else that needs to be present for the demonstration. We generally try to meet with all decision makers at the same time so we can answer all questions that may come up.

House - Hartford, WI - Brew City Trim Light

At the Consultation

When we arrive to your house we will bring along a roofing report of your house that will show all of the dimensions and measurements which outline your house. This allows us to be very accurate on the scope of work. We will do a walk around the house and talk about where you would like lights added. Once we have a general idea of what your goals are we will go over the installation details specific to your property as well as a product demonstration with one of our lighting kits that we can turn on to showcase the product.

Quote

After we have answered all questions we will leave you with a detailed quote for you to look over if you need some time to review. If you are ready to move forward, we will sign the contract. Once again, we will review the install details together, and collect payment for ½ down on the project. The final payment isn’t due until your job is complete. The ½ payment covers our materials that need to be shipped to complete your project.

Order Products

In the state of Wisconsin, we have a buyers 3 day right to rescind on any contract. As I mentioned before we are not a pressure company and only ask for your business if the time is right. However, there are companies that really push and close hard by fear of loss tactics. That is why these programs with the state of WI are important to keep. We value the right to cancel as Nate and Jake want you to be 100% comfortable with your decision.

Product is In

We are one step closer to getting your lights up and celebrating Every Season, Every Reason! Once we have a delivery date we will inform you about the date materials will arrive. From there we can start setting tentative dates for installation based on the size of your project. We generally don’t like to schedule more than a week in advance but, we will pin down days that work best for you. Weather is the only major factor that messes up our timeline. We also ask that you take some time to clean up the yard of pet mess during this time. There’s nothing worse than having to work on a ladder with a present from a pet stuck on it.

Installation Day

Our installers generally arrive between 8:45-9:15 on the morning of installs. They will ring the bell upon arrival and introduce themselves. They will also go over the install details to make sure we once again are all on the same page. On some installs they will need access to the attic of the house to bury wires internally. This is why we request someone home for the installation of your new system. Garage access is needed on every installation as that is where we put the control system that links to your phone.

Connecting Your System

Once the installers have completed getting your project up and running they will spend about 20-30 minutes with you to program your phone and run you thru the app. The goal is to give you a very basic idea of how the system works. We will also send you multiple training videos on how to run the app. These are also available on our website. Once you are happy with the installation and your understanding of the app we request you pay the final payment to the installers. They come to our offices multiple times a week and drop off final payments and contract completions.

You’re Up and Running

Now you’re on to years of stress-free holiday lighting. If you ever run into an issue, just give us a call and we will work with you on the issue over the phone or send a tech if we can’t solve it easily on the phone. We also have a Facebook group that is closing in on 20k people. It’s a great page to ask questions, get lighting ideas, troubleshoot problems, etc. We highly recommend you join “Trimlight Community” on Facebook once your system is up and running.
